FightPeak Medical & Training Disclaimer

Effective date: October 27, 2026 · Version: 1.0 · Part of the FightPeak Terms of Service · TK Collective LLC

Read this before you train from anything FightPeak shows you.

FightPeak is a planning tool, not a doctor, dietitian or coach

FightPeak generates training schedules, strength and conditioning sessions, conditioning prescriptions, readiness scores, sparring-load budgets and weight-management targets from the information you enter. They are informational and are produced by software. FightPeak does not provide individualized professional review; any review by your own physician, dietitian, athletic trainer or coach must be arranged separately.

FightPeak is intended for general fitness and training planning. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease or injury, or to determine medical clearance or return-to-play eligibility.

Get cleared before you start

Before using any FightPeak plan you should have a current medical clearance for combat-sport training from a licensed physician, and you must answer FightPeak's health-screen questions truthfully. If your health changes, stop training and update your answers. If you are pregnant, over 45, have a heart, lung, kidney or metabolic condition, a history of concussion, a history of disordered eating, or any injury, get specific medical advice before following any plan.

Combat sports are dangerous

Boxing, MMA, sparring, strength training, high-intensity conditioning and weight management carry inherent risks of serious injury, including concussion and chronic traumatic encephalopathy, heat illness, dehydration, kidney injury, cardiac events, musculoskeletal injury and death. FightPeak's budgets, caps, alerts and readiness colours are planning aids. They are not medically validated safe limits and they cannot see how you feel. You alone decide whether to train on any given day.

Concussion and head impact

Sparring budgets are informational. All contact training should happen under qualified supervision with appropriate protective equipment. If you have any concussion symptom — headache, dizziness, confusion, nausea, visual disturbance, memory gaps, sensitivity to light or noise, or "not feeling right" — stop all contact immediately and get a medical evaluation. Return to contact only after medical clearance.

Do not rely on FightPeak to detect concussion, monitor symptoms, or determine whether training is safe. An absent warning or a favorable readiness score is not medical clearance. If you tell FightPeak you have concussion symptoms it will stop suggesting sessions; that is a software rule, not a medical decision, and it does not clear you.

Weight management

Rapid weight loss, dehydration and water loading are dangerous and have killed athletes. Weight-related outputs in FightPeak are automated estimates and may be inappropriate for an individual athlete. They do not establish that a target weight or a rate of weight loss is safe, and they are not medical clearance for weight cutting. They are available only after you complete the health screen and give consent. Never cut weight without supervision from a qualified professional. Stop and seek medical help if you experience dizziness, confusion, cramping, rapid heartbeat, dark urine or inability to sweat.

Nutrition

Nutrition and weight-management information in FightPeak is general educational content, not medical nutrition therapy or individualized treatment. Consult a registered dietitian and, where required, an appropriately licensed nutrition professional. A coach's use of FightPeak does not authorize the coach to provide services outside their qualifications or lawful scope of practice.

Evidence labels

Prescriptions in FightPeak carry an evidence label. "Strong" and "Moderate" mean the underlying principle is supported by published research in athletes. "Coaching default" means the exact dose comes from coaching practice and no study tested that specific number. Research in combat athletes is limited and mostly small, and no complete fight-camp program of this kind has been tested as a package in a controlled trial. Treat every number as a starting point for you and your coach to adjust.

Coaches and gyms

If you use FightPeak to program for other people, you remain responsible for your own qualifications, supervision, permissions and professional decisions, for obtaining each athlete's informed consent, and for applying your own judgment to every prescription. FightPeak is a tool in your hands.

Emergencies

FightPeak has no emergency features. In an emergency call your local emergency number (911 in the United States).

Your acknowledgement

By using FightPeak you confirm that you have read this disclaimer, that you are 18 or older and medically cleared to train, that you accept the inherent risks described, and that you will seek qualified medical advice for any health question. This acknowledgement is not medical clearance.
